Our Journey

Artistry Finery began as a memory I never outgrew.

I remember a monsoon afternoon in our ancestral palace in Shohratgarh, Uttar Pradesh — My mother sat by the verandah with her brushes.
In front of her were small bowls of colour — not from a store but made by hand.
Indigo, marigold, rose… pigments drawn from nature itself. Beside her lay a simple lemon saree. Untouched. Almost forgotten.

I was a child then, sitting close, watching without knowing that I was witnessing the beginning of something that would stay with me forever.

And then, the wind moved.

A handful of bougainvillea petals drifted in and scattered across the floor and onto the fabric — as if nature had quietly joined her.

She paused.
Looked at them.
And in that silence, something shifted.

She picked up one petal and pressed it gently onto the saree.

The mark it left was soft, unpredictable, imperfect —
and yet, it carried a kind of beauty no design could replicate.

That was the first motif.

No sketch.
No plan.
Just instinct.

For hours after that, we painted together —
she with her brush, and me with curious, colour -stained fingers.

What was once an ordinary saree slowly became something else entirely.
Something alive. Something felt.

Weeks later, she wore it to a royal gathering.

There were jewels and everything one would expect —
but it was that saree that people noticed.

Not because it was grand.
But because it was real.

What Stayed With Me

That afternoon never left me.

It taught me something I would only understand years later:

That art is not about perfection.
It is about emotion finding form.

That the most beautiful things are not created to impress —
they are created because they cannot remain unexpressed.

And that when something is made by hand, with feeling,
it carries a presence that cannot be manufactured.

The Beginning of Artistry Finery

Artistry Finery began not just as an inspiration,
but as a clear and conscious vision.

A vision to create a global space for Indian artistry —
where handmade, handcrafted, and deeply personal creations
are not just appreciated, but truly valued.

From the very beginning, the idea was simple, yet powerful:
why should art only be displayed, when it can be lived and worn?

Paintings have always been seen as investments.
But to me, art was never meant to remain confined to walls.

It deserved movement.
It deserved presence.
It deserved to become a part of one’s identity.

That thought became the foundation of Artistry Finery —
to transform art into wearable expressions.

Rooted in Jaipur, yet looking far beyond,
Artistry Finery stands at the intersection of heritage and contemporary thought.

We draw from India’s rich legacy of:

  • hand-painting
  • hand – bead embroidery
  • textile traditions
  • handcrafted jewelry

And bring them together with a progressive, evolving design language.

Because while our roots are traditional,
our vision is global.

At its core, Artistry Finery is also a response.

A response to repetition.
To mass production.
To the loss of individuality in what we wear.

We have always believed —
that what you wear should reflect who you are.

Not replicate what everyone else is wearing.

In a world of sameness,
uniqueness becomes luxury.

This is why many of our creations are not just made —
they are customized, personal, and intentional.

We honour individuality.
We design with personality in mind.
We create pieces that are meant to stand apart, not blend in.

At the same time, Artistry Finery is a platform.

A platform for artists, artisans, and craftsmen
whose skills deserve to be seen on a global stage.

Every piece carries not just material value,
but the time, skill, and story of the hands that created it.

Artistry Finery was built with a quiet determination:

To create with quality.
To grow with purpose.
And to take Indian handcrafted artistry
to the world — with dignity, authenticity, and refinement.

To Wear Art

To Be Distinct.
To Stand Apart.**

A Living Tribute

Artistry Finery is, and will always remain, a tribute:

To my mother, Kunwarani Saheba Arunima Singh —
whose artistry did not just teach me how to create,
but how to feel.

To the artisans of India —
whose hands carry centuries of knowledge.

I grew up watching my grandmother’s sparkling jewelry box, Kunwarani Saheba Devi Raja, her jewels were never just ornaments, they were expressions of power, femininity, and heritage.

I was always drawn to the brilliance of her diamonds,
the depth of her gemstones,
and the effortless way she carried them.

Those moments stayed with me — silently, subconsciously —
shaping my eye, my taste, and my understanding of what fine jewelry truly is, when she used to effortlessly pair them up with her wears.

Today, as we shape Artistry Finery’s Textile and jewelry,
those memories continue to guide me and inspire me.
